We are equally excited each and every time an author exclaims that our meeting was meant to be, serendipitous, or fortuitous. The feeling of helping others while crossing paths just at the right time is one we deeply cherish.
We exclusively publish non-fiction and memoir.
Unfortunately, most authors are missing what is needed for a traditional publishing deal. You must have a large platform, audience, and reach. You need to prove that you can sell a mass volume of books. If that is not evident, they aren’t going to take a chance on the unknown.
At PYP we know that a book can be very successful without selling millions of copies. We recognize that you may not have a big platform at the start, but we work with you to maximize and leverage the platform you do have.
We work with you to redefine what you think of when you hear the word “platform” to cultivate new ideas of how to get your book in the hands of new readers and prospective clients.
Where does that leave you?
As a new author, determining the right publishing is a tough choice.
When traditional publishing is not an option that leaves you with two paths—
We have written at length about the differences which you can read about on our blog.
PYP is a hybrid publisher. A hybrid publisher by definition makes their income from a combination of publishing services and book sales. This is an author-subsidized business model that is the fastest growing sector of the publishing industry.

Download the Book Cost Blueprint
Regardless of where you are searching on the Internet you are going to find major discrepancies in the price of services. On one website you’ll see to expect to pay $5 for a book cover and on another website you’ll see $5,000. These ranges can be utterly overwhelming and stop a new author dead in their tracks from proceeding forward.
The information in this guide is based on the cost of producing your book going down a self-publishing path. These numbers are based entirely on our personal experience in helping dozens of authors navigate this space.
