A Q&A with the Publish Your Purpose Press Team

1. How did you come to work with PYP?

I enrolled in the Author’s Academy in Summer 2017 and that was all she wrote (or “he wrote”!).  I was “all In”.  I loved the level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to excellence.  This incredible powerhouse team breathed life into my very unorganized sticky notes, bar napkins, journals and ideas to a #1 new release on Amazon in breakneck speed.  I had to join this team to help others in my same situation.

2. What do you enjoy the most about your work?

The power in words dancing on the pages to craft a beautiful message to make a difference in this world.

3. What are your favorite books or genre?

I love reading anything from my favorite author, Phyllis H. Moore.  Birdie and Jude and Opal’s Story are among my favorites.  My memoir is not too bad either.

4. How do you spend your free time?

I am an avid cook, triathlete, enjoy relaxing with good movies or TV, and love spending downtime with Mr. Wonderful at our lake home on Lake Oconee or traveling whenever we can.

5. If you could have dinner with anyone, past or present, who would it be?

Patti LaBelle

6. What is one thing very few people know about you?

I don’t do leftovers.

7. How would you define your purpose?

Ever since I was a little boy, I have had a keen ability to “Believe.”  Believe powered by crazy positive energy can meet and exceed expectations.  That is my goal in life, help people believe and live authentically.

Regardless of where you are searching on the Internet you are going to find major discrepancies in the price of services. On one website you’ll see to expect to pay $5 for a book cover and on another website you’ll see $5,000. These ranges can be utterly overwhelming and stop a new author dead in their tracks from proceeding forward.

The information in this guide is based on the cost of producing your book going down a self-publishing path. These numbers are based entirely on our personal experience in helping dozens of authors navigate this space.
