Use any excuse or technique to kick start your new production and create healthy habits to get it finished. Take one action step that you can do today which will help you get words on paper tomorrow that will ultimately help you get your book done in 2018. Make your book your New Year’s Resolution. “I’m going to write my book in 2018!”

Remember a book doesn’t happen overnight. You have to put in the effort on a regular basis to get a book done.

Use a planner of some kind. A planner allows you to break down week by week and map out your goals into bite size chunks over your chosen duration

[52 weeks if working on getting book done in 2018 for example.]

[Suggestion: Ink and Bolt planner. – However, a notebook, your Google/Outlook/Mac calendar, etc. any program will do as well.]

You will feel victorious if you take one action [small as it might be] each day and get it done.
